All set for maiden Coach A Inter-Campus caging
CEBU, Philippines — Everything is already in place for the first ever Coach A Inter-Campus Basketball Tournament (CABT) set to take off on March 1 at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Mango Campus gym.
The participating teams are from the four campuses of Coach A in Minglanilla, Cebu City, Consolacion, and Lapu-Lapu City.
They will play a single round robin, with the top two teams fighting it out for the championship.
The categories to be contested are the Under 12, Under 18 and dads/parents.
“I’m holding this tournament to give experience to the players among their Coach A co-students,” said Coach A Basketball head Kareem Alocillo. “Also, I included the dads/parents as one of the categories so that their sons will be encouraged that their dads are playing the game they love too.”
What makes the tournament unique is that all the players will be wearing an LA Lakers-inspired jerseys as Coach A’s tribute to the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant. EBV
