Flores Cousins now 3-0 in Amicis hoopla

CEBU, Philippines — Flores Cousins waxed hot from start to finish to scorch JAMALS, 118-74, and stay unbeaten in the 1st Amicis Basketball League (ABL) season at the Consolacion Sports Complex.

Bos Dhan dropped 21 points and 12 rebounds while Sakuragi Cayanong added 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists as the Flores Cousins of playing coach Kurt Flores and Atty. Paulo Sucalit firmed up their grip of the solo lead in the 30-above category with a clean 3-0 slate.

Jasper Macalam tossed in 18 points and 10 rebounds, Larry Malagar donated 17 points, six assists and three rebounds for the Flores Cousins, which hammered the hapless JAMALS in the first two quarters to rip the game apart at halftime, 61-25.

The Flores Cousins kept their relentless offensive the rest of the way to come up with a 44-point blowout.

Andrew Tabares was the other bright spot for the Flores Cousins with 15 points, seven assists and four rebounds.

Jonathan Pinto paced JAMALS with 32 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Jimbe Saberon scored 14 on top of seven rebounds while Noel Congson nailed 11 markers laced with seven rebounds and five assists but their efforts went down the drain as they stayed winless in four starts.

Games of the maiden ABL season backed up by North Sports Apparel, VDrink Malunggay Juice, and Consolacion LGU headed by mayor Joyjoy Alegado are under the supervision of commissioner Lee Mar Dahil assisted by Aurelio Eslawan. EBV
