All set for Ibabao-Estancia duathlon this Sunday

Cebu, Philippines - It’s all systems go for the Ibabao-Estancia Duathlon slated this Sunday in Barangay Ibabao-Estancia in Mandaue City.

Close to 100 fitness buffs have confirmed their participation in the race that features fat bikes, 30-39, 40-above, 29-above and women’s open categories.

Participants will be dealing with a five-kilometer run followed with a 25-kilometer criterium bike and finish off with a three-kilometer run.

Cash prizes and medals await the top performers in each category. Organizers reminded the participants that the race will start at exactly 5 a.m to avoid affecting the flow of traffic in the said area.

The race is one of the highlights for the barangay’s annual fiesta.

All participants will get post-race meals.
