CEBU, Philippines — Matthew Grafilo dropped 22 points and Winston Stephen Panal added 18 as the Kyocera Frontiers bounced back from their first defeat of the season in style, trouncing the Shearwater Health Crusaders, 64-37, in the EVO League of the Tanduay Athletics CSCC E-Leagues for Basketball Season 15 over the weekend at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Ariel Ramonito Edera chipped in 13 markers for the Frontiers, who joined their tormentor Tech Mahindra Tech Mighties at second place in the standings with identical 5-1 win-loss cards.

It was an all Kyrocera-show since it greeted the match with blistering 23-9 run. By halftime, the lead ballooned to 20 points, 37-17. The rest, they say, is history.

Christian Irwin Hubag finished with 10 points for Shearwater, which suffered its fifth setback in seven starts.

In the other EVO League games, the Executive Boutique/Select Voicecom Bulldogs, the Results Newtown Spartans and the Author Solutions Philippines Inc. (ASPI) Hardbacks also emerged victorious.

The Bulldogs mauled the CTC-BPO Trojans, 64-41 to improve their record top 4-3 behind the efforts of Aristotle Alcos and Yvesse Carlo Suan who connived for 32 points.
