Cebuana Erediano shines in Duaman Duathon
CEBU, Philippines — Multi-titled Moira Frances Erediano added feather to her cap after clinching the championship trophy in this year’s edition of Duaman Duathon yesterday at the Camp N Nuvali in Sta.Rosa, Laguna.
The Go-For-Gold-Talisay Luigi Triathlon Group’s top bet Erediano ruled the female 15-17 category.
Erediano competed in the full distance, with her first six kilometers run clocked 25 minutes and 20 seconds, followed with a 48:42 in the 25-kilometers bike then finished with a 15:03 on a three-kilometer run.
Erediano’s one hour, 29 minutes and five seconds total time was way ahead of Fitness First’s Rhodora Ellis who got 1:36:48 while Silamie Gutang came out third with 1:42:41.
Aside from the overall crown, Erediano also got a special award for the best bike split.
Erediano’s victory in the Duaman also served as her final tune-up for the Gyeongju ASTC Triathlon Asian Championships in Gyeongju, Korea on June 20. (FREEMAN)
