Miranda, Aguilar clinch Bowlers of the Month title
CEBU, Philippines — Micmic Miranda and Inday Aguilar claimed the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Friday Group “Bowlers of the Month” title for May the other day at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Miranda collected a total of 1, 082 pinfalls to rule the men’s division. He upended Jaime Uy (1,038) and Terrence Williams (1,037) who finished second and third place, respectively.
Senior bowler Joseph Yu (1,018) and Roland Bantilan (1, 014) occupied the fourth and fifth place, respectively.
In the women’s class, Aguilar knocked down a total of 1,049 pins to claim the title. Baby Bacon wound up second with 995 pinfalls, while Ester Francisco wound up third with 955 pinfalls.
Completing the top five in the women’s action are Cynthia Uybengkee (911) and Johna Calipay (837).
