Talisay’s summer sports workshop set April 22

CEBU, Philippines — The Talisay City Sports Commission gears up for its annual Summer Sports Workship which will kick off on April 22 in different venues.

Aspiring athletes will have 10 sporting events to choose from – basketball, volleyball, badminton, swimming, table tennis, softball, chess, scrabble, karatedo, boxing, arnis and dancesport.

The summer workshop is open to kids aged from six to 18-year-old. Registration is free.

As for the swimming class, the participants has to pay P500 entrance fee which will cover the 10-day swimming class.

Aside from sports clinic, Talisay City is also offering summer lessons in arts, modern hip-hop, hawaiian or belly dancing, bandurria, guitar and voice for their arts and music workshop.

The organizers will implement first come, first serve basis as limited slots are available. Reservations will not be entertained.

Interested parties may visit and register at the Talisay City Sports Commission (TCSC) office located at the lower ground floor of the Talisay City Hall (beside the Local Housing Office and OSCA) in Barangay Lawaan II.
