Fasa Fuego tops 6th Sinulog frisbee

CEBU, Philippines — Fasa Fuego reigned supreme in the sixth edition of the Sinulog Open Ultimate Frisbee Tournament at the Naga City oval last weekend.

Fasa Fuego outlasted 19 local and out-of-town squads in the two-day event.

Fasa Fuego upended Cedugan Tribe in the finals, 15-13, to clinch the championship. Team G-Spot took the third place honor.

Meanwhile, Northsquad of Negros Oriental top the pool B action after beating Sadakrab of Cebu City and UFO Eskwaters of Digos City.

In the pool C bracket, Brad Ultimate of Cagayan De Oro claimed the title, while Airbenders and University of San Carlos settled for second and third place, respectively.

Cebu Ultimate Frisbee Organization President Apple Marie Tabasa said that they are planning another exciting tournament next year.

"They will look forward to a more improved Sinulog Open next year. We will make it more exciting in the next edition," said Tabasa.
