Sunsport campers to receive commemorative mini basketballs

CEBU, Philippines — In line with its Silver anniversary celebration, the participants of this year’s Sunsport Basketball Training Camp will get additional freebies.

To make them special being part of their milestone year, Sunsport manager Andrew C. Choachuy said all campers in their 25th season will receive specially-designed commemorative mini basketballs.

That is on top of the 2018 Sunsport basketball, training jersey, shoe bag and shirt they will take home out of their P1,500 registration fee.

As announced earlier, two venues will be utilized for the annual summer clinic that will start on April 2.

Aside from the Sacred Heart Sports Center Sports Club, the Capitol Parish gym will also be used by Sunsport as its training ground for aspiring hoopsters.

There will be two sets of two-hour training session from Monday to Friday: 8:00-10:00 am for seven to 11 years old entrants, and 10am-12nn for the 12-19 age group.

As usual, the first level of training will focus on the fundamentals of the sport wherein the students will be taught on proper shooting, passing, dribbling, footwork and basic defense.

Enrollment period is set from March 26-31, 9am to 4 pm, at the Sacred Heart Center Sports Club.
