Pit Senyor darts set January 19

CEBU, Philippines — Over a hundred of dart enthusiasts will converge in the first Pit Senyor - Invitational Dart Tournament on January 19-20 at the Yayoy's Grill Resto Bar in Capitol Site, Cebu City.

Organized by the Cebu Darters United (CDU) the event features singles, open doubles and fix 3-man team categories.

Aside from Cebuano darters, participants coming from Tacloban City, Negros, Dumaguete City, Manila, Cagayan De Oro City and Davao City have expressed their interest to compete.

"This is our way to introduce the sport to everyone. We want to encourage new players to join especially those in the grassroots," CDU's William "Wyno" Ugang Jr. said."Hopefully this will become an annual event because what we want is to keep the sport alive."

Trophies and cash prizes await the top placers in each category.

Registration for is pegged at P150 in the singles, P300 per team in the open doubles and P450 per team in the fix 3-man. (FREEMAN)
