Fourth Recoletos Run this Saturday

CEBU, Philippines — It's all systems go for the fourth edition of University of San Jose-Recoletos's 'Recoletos Run for Fun' this Saturday starting and ending at the Plaza Independencia.

Spearheaded by the USJ-R Alumni Association Inc. Office, around 500 students, alumni, employees and running enthusiasts are expected to participate.

The running event serves as a fund-raiser for the school's scholars.“We are doing this run to support our scholars fully until they finish their studies. This event also serves as a way of an outlet for the students to relieve stress and give themselves a break from their studies,” said USJ-R Alumni Association president Paulino Tudlasan Jr.

The run features 3K, 6K and 12K categories. The 3K and 6K are exclusive for students, alumni and employees, while the 12K is open to all.

Cash prizes and medals await the top three finishers in each category.

Registration fee is pegged at P300 for the 3K, P400 for 6K and P500 for 12K. Registration will be done until  the day of the run. One may register at the USJ-R alumni Office in the university's main Campus
