CEBU, Philippines — Team Larazo-Aspa clobbered the San Remigio Properties, 82-68, in their lopsided final match to clinch the championship of the Monday Squad Basketball Cebu (MSBC) 1st Open 5'10" Under Tournament at the Casals Village gym in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.

Rumar Ponce sparkled with 18 points, Jie Dablo scored 16, while Barok Ceniza and Freddy Ninel finished with 10 points each in Larazao-Aspa's wire-to-wire victory.

For his game-long brilliance, Ponce was honored as the Finals MVP.

The regular season MVP award, however, went to Noel Torrefiel of Na Patikan.

Torrefiel was joined in the elite Mythical Five by Dave Cabanilla of SanRem, Alan Sala and Reno Berido of SG/ARQ Builders, and Jimmy Ople of AGM Irish.

The MSBC tilt was made made possible through the support of basketball patron Mark Anthony Ynoc of San Remigio Properties, Ian Gan of Silogan Ni Gian, Ian Castrodes of Cobra, Thomson Castañeda of Prulife, Lodger Tausa of SwePhi Studio Salon and Spa, Enrico Anton Climaco Solon of StayFit Cebu, Ian Dong, Ivan Jason Mds, John Rosales, Mark Matidios, Jayar Custodio Rocamora and Aldrin Russel Batua.
