Wanted person arrested without bail

CEBU, Philippines —  The Tuburan town police have arrested a most wanted person with a reward from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Barangay Maghan-ay, Tuburan, Cebu on Wednesday afternoon.

The accused was identified as Rogelio Oxcerial Pastorete, alias Roheng and also known as Romio Oxcerial Pastorete, 61, a resident of Barangay Baye, Asturias, Cebu.

Pastorete has three arrest warrants from the cases of kidnapping with attempted murder, murder and attempted murder.

Along with the Tuburan police, the PNP-AKG Visayas Field Unit and Regional Intelligence Unit-7 served the arrest warrant.

Pastorete was arrested by virtue of and arrest warrant issued by Judge Ruben Altubar of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 29 in Toledo City on December 22, 2022 for kidnapping with attempted murder. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Another arrest warrant dated February 14, 1991 was issued by Judge Gualberto Delgado of RTC Branch 29 in Toledo City for attempted murder with a recommended bail of P12,000.

Delgado also issued a warrant of arrest without bail against the accused for murder dated February 14, 1991. — GMR (FREEMAN)
