More recoveries noted in 4 cities
Though the city has recorded 148 more new cases, the total number of active cases of 3,044 is lower than in the past two weeks.

CEBU, Philippines — Cebu City has recorded 146 more reported recoveries from COVID-19 bringing the total at 13,437 as of February 26, 2021 data of the Department of Health in Central Visayas.

Though the city has recorded 148 more new cases, the total number of active cases of 3,044 is lower than in the past two weeks.

The city’s total cases are now at 17,210 with 729 deaths.

Meanwhile, Mandaue City now has 834 active cases of COVID-19 out of the 4,056 total cases after 19 more new cases were recorded.

The total recoveries now at 3,039 with 20 additional reported recoveries and 183 deaths.

Lapu-Lapu City has 888 active cases out of the 4,106 total cases after 59 more new cases were recorded.

Two more deaths were reported making it a total of 122 with 3,096 recoveries.

Talisay City on the other hand has recorded a lesser number of active cases as of February 25, 2021.

There were 20 new cases recorded but 32 have been added to the list of recoveries.

Talisay City’s active cases are now at 171 from more than 200 in the past days.
