Sinas celebrates thanksgiving in Cebu today
CEBU, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) highest-ranking official is set to visit Cebu today.
Police Brigadier General Albert Ignatius Ferro, Police Regional Office (PRO-7) director, confirmed this in a press conference yesterday.
Ferro said PNP Chief Debold Sinas will visit Cebu to celebrate a thanksgiving through a prayer and a visit to the troops.
“We are so blessed that our chief PNP chose Central Visayas particularly Cebu to celebrate a thanksgiving through a prayer and a visit to the troops,” said Ferro.
He said they want to visit Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma whom he believed to be the spiritual leader in the region.
“I myself am close to the Bishop because I think he is one of our weapons in a prayer group because they are always helping us spiritually and we have seen the results,” he added.
Sinas was assigned as director of PRO-7 from July 2018 until October 2019. — GMR (FREEMAN)
