Fire razes 75 houses in Talisay

CEBU, Philippines —  Around 75 homes are gone in Sitio Kilawan, Barangay Tanke, Talisay City yesterday morning.

Talisay City Fire Marshal, Senior Insp. Arnel Abella, said the fire station received the alarm at 10:25 in the morning.

It was raised to second alarm upon learning the area was residential.

The fire reportedly started at the residence of a certain Anecita Bacacao where there was a welding work.

Firefighters have difficulties in penetrating the area due to narrow access.
