CEBU, Philippines — The Freeman’s Power Women project is returning for its third season starting tomorrow, Thursday.

Power Women is The Freeman’s special project to celebrate International Women’s Month this March.

With its tagline, “Women who are not afraid to make a difference,” Power Women features and pays tribute to female leaders, movers, and shakers in different industries.

It is the hope that the guests’ stories of leadership, triumphs, and overcoming of challenges inspire other women and young girls to dream big and take action for themselves and for their communities. The conversation is streamed on The Freeman’s official Facebook page.

The third season will kick off on March 5 with conversations with the Vice Consul of the Philippine Embassy in London, Stacy Danika Alcantara-Garcia, at 4 p.m. and with the cast members of the Vagina Monologues in Cebu at 6 p.m.

The spotlight will be on international champion marathoner Mary Joy Tabal on Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m. Binibining Cebu 2020 Beatrice Luigi Gomez will join the conversation on Monday, March 9, at 2 p.m. and former Cebu City Representative Rachel del Mar will share her story on March 17 at 4 p.m.

More interviews will take place the rest of the month and schedules will be announced accordingly. Power Women has featured close to 40 women in the past two seasons, including Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, SM Prime Holdings Vice President Marissa Fernan, and Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry-Ammann.
