CEBU, Philippines — The Capitol has awarded P529.4 million worth of road concreting projects in the Province of Cebu to different contractors.

This will be funded under the P1.38 billion that Governor Gwendolyn Garcia proposed and was approved by the Provincial Board last August.

The PB yesterday has passed at least 40 resolutions sponsored by Board Member Edsel Galeos authorizing Garcia to execute and sign a contract of agreement to respective contractors.

Galeos, who chairs the PB committee on public works, highways and infrastructure, said all the projects have passed through the bidding process conducted by the Bids and Awards Committee and declared the winning bidders.

The projects include P12 million concreting of San Francisco-Santiago Road Section in San Francisco by the First Builders and Developers; P12 million Guimbal-Dapdap Road Section in Compostela by Dinah Jane Construction and Supply; P12 million concreting of Poblacion-Puertobello Road Section in Tudela by First Builders and Developers; P5.7 million concreting of Bangbang-Buagsong Road Section in Cordova by Quirante Construction.

The P7.8 million Tayud-Semenario Road Section in Consolacion by Quirante Construction; P12 million Poblacion-Bugho Road Section in Moalboal by WTG Construction and Development Corporation; P692,000 construction of slope protection at Sto. Niño in Malabuyoc by Celedio Construction Builders and Supply.

The P12 million concreting of (Sangi) Magsico-Balungag Road Section in San Fernando; P12 million Pakigne-Tubod Manduwang Road Section in Minglanilla, and P12 million Dumlog-Barrio Road Section in Talisay City, all by AR Adlawan Construction.

The P12 million Lamakan-Mangyan-Candaguit Road Section in Sibonga; P11.8 million Valencia-Buenavista Road Section in Carcar City; P24 million Calidngan-Balungag Road Section in Carcar City; P11.8 million Langtad-Bairan Road Section in Naga City; P11.8 million Balirong-Alpaco Road Section in Naga City; P12 million Usmad-Cansuje Road Section in Argao, and P12 million

Mantalongon-Dugyan Road Section in Dalaguete, all by Quirante Construction.

The P11.8 million Poblacion-Nug-as Road Section in Alcoy by April Rose Enterprises and Builders; P12 million Poblacion-Dalayday-San Antonio Road Section in Boljoon and P12 million Poblacion-Cañang Road Section in Oslob by Quirante Construction.

The P11.4 million Sagay-Borbon Road Section in Borbon and P11.4 million Dawis-Triumpo Road Section in Carmen by JO Builders; P11.8 million Ipil Road Section in Carmen by Dinah Jane Construction and Supply; P24 million Poblacion-Candabong-Manga Road Section in Alcantara by WTG Construction and Development Corporation; P35 million Poblacion-Sorsogon Road Section in Malabuyoc by Helm Construction and Supplies.

The P12 million Lambug- Banhigan Road Section in Badian by WTG Construction and Development Corporation; P12 million Sangi-Dugyan Road Section in Alegria by Quirante Construction; P19.7 million Bag-ong Daan Road Section in Liloan by B.L.
