CEBU, Philippines — A 55-year-old car painter was shot dead by still unidentified gunman along in General Maxilom Ave., Barangay Carreta, Cebu City.

Police eyed jealousy as possible motive in the killing of Rolando Rosas, resident of Sitio Ponce Dos in the same barangay, because he was allegedly last seen with a married woman.

Rosas suffered gunshot wound in the stomach with the bullet exited through his back. A relative of the victim rushed him to the nearest hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Initial investigations conducted by Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) Homicide Section revealed that the victim was seeing a married woman. Homicide investigator Geoffrey Gutual said they are looking at love angle as possible motive. (FREEMAN)
