Upon the explicit instructions and guidance of Wilcon’s creative head, Alvin Capistrano, Erika captured through digital art technology, the Sinulog Festival in Cebu and the Masskara Festival in Bacolod. Her final artwork reeks of vivid colors echoing rhythmic movement that reflect the joy, faith and unity of the Visayan people.
Adding to its cultural richness, and since this province is the seedbed of Catholicism in the country, the notebook’s design features the historic churches of the Visayas. These edifices apart from being centers of worship are also known for their stunning architecture and deep spiritual and historic significance. These church images skillfully rendered by the artist seamlessly tie its gloried past with the dynamic present.
The notebook is more than just a keepsake. Moreso, it’s a celebration of Wilcon’s journey with the Visayas, where the company has grown alongside the communities it serves.
