Media Dinner

Cebu Pacific hosted an intimate dinner last March 11 at the # 9 restaurant along Benedicto Street, Cebu City. A few selected media friends were invited to this exclusive gathering.

Present during this dinner were Cebgo President and CEO Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing & Distribution Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Director for Marketing Blessie Cruz, and Cebu Pacific Director of Corporate Communications Charo Logarta Lagamon.

Cebu Pacific is the largest carrier in the Philippine air transportation industry, offering low-cost fares. The airline flies to 36 domestic and 26 international destinations with over 107 routes spanning Asia, Australia, the Middle East and USA. It has achieved full compliance with the International Air Transportation (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) which is considered as the accreditation with the highest standards for safety in the airline industry, and “boasts” of having one of the youngest fleets in the world” with an average fleet age of five years. The airline celebrated its 23rd anniversary on March 8.

Cebu Pacific flies direct from Cebu to five international destinations: Hongkong, Singapore, Incheon Korea, Narita Japan and Macau and 23 domestic destinations.

Young and amiable Chinese Consuls Jiang Wen and Zhao Yiyuan, played hosts at a marvelous Chinese lunch at Luy`s Classic Tea House located just across SM city Cebu a few days ago. A very knowledgeable one on Chinese cuisine, Dr. Nestor Alonso quite ably interacted with the Consuls about Chinese food. The lunch, which lasted for almost four hours, was filled with stories on Chinese food, and we also had lots of fun!
