CEBU, Philippines — Like all forms of art, fashion has the transformative power to represent culture and tradition.

Here in Cebu, this is evinced every January when the homegrown Island Souvenirs brand rolls out its annual “Cut & Style” campaign – the brand’s ever-popular campaign for the Sinulog Festival season.

Formally launched this year on January 10, the brand has set up “Cut & Style” kiosks in various malls in the metro – venues where customers can have personalized “Cut & Style” outfits done on the spot.

More than a campaign that renders the Sinulog’s festive feel through eye-catching t-shirt designs and, literally, cut-and-styling services, the campaign also highlights a fashion presentation this January 18 at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu – which occasion will feature the different styles that can be cut in time for the Sinulog Grand Parade on January 20.
