Lawyer Dean Decal was feted by wifey lawyer Joje Decal to a delightful lunch at Seafood City in Grandcon when he turned a year older on his birthday. Only child Jodene and her mom Joje were in dancing attendance – plus the presence of their close reletives and friends, and Dean’s good friends from high school.

On the other hand, Junjun Salimbangon was honored by his parents, Congressman Benhur Salimbangon and Mon Janice with a big dinner party at their home in Nivel Hills. Because it was Junjun’s 18th birthday, of course, his classmates were in perfect attendance as well as relatives and friends and associates of his parents. Junjun’s party was fun, fun, fun!

Norberto Carating’s “Twilight”

“Twilight,” an exhibit featuring the paintings of renowned abstract artist Norberto Carating, has been scheduled at Radisson Blu Cebu. The 69-year old Carating is expected to be present at the opening cocktail on Wednesday, March 8 at 6 p.m. at the lobby lounge of the hotel.

Carating is a multi-awarded painter who studied at the UP College of Fine Arts under the country's foremost abstract expressionist, Jose Joya in the '60s. He has been a recipient of the prestigious Cultural Center of the Philippines' Thirteen Artists Award, and has exhibited in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain, Germany, Cuba, Canada and the US.

“Twilight” is a collaborative endeavor by Qube Gallery, Manila's Hiraya Gallery and Radisson Blu Cebu.
