YRST - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - The international fashion and direct-selling company Sophie Paris had the third leg of its "Fashion and Beauty Caravan 2015" in Cebu last Saturday, August 15, following its successful hosting of the caravan in Manila and Davao early this year.

Held at the Trade Hall of SM City Cebu, various product displays of Sophie Paris' perfumes, skincare products, fashion apparel and accessories were showcased in the daylong event. It was also an opportunity for many to enlist into the Sophie direct-selling network.

One of the day's highlights was a modeling workshop and fashion show by Top Model Philippines - with the participants of the workshop modeling a number of the items that are included in the Sophie Paris Philippines catalogs for August and September 2015.

The occasion also gave recognition to the top performing Sophie Paris members from Cebu. Entertainment numbers included a "Zumba Party" with Baby Jane Enad, a surprise performance by Jay Falinga (known as the "Vice Ganda of Cebu"), live band performances and more.

Founded in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1992 by French entrepreneur Bruno Hasson, Sophie Paris started as a home-based handbag manufacturing business. Now one of Asia's biggest fashion and direct-selling companies, the brand came to the Philippines in 2002. It currently has more than 500,000 members based in different parts of the country, along with more than 140 business centers nationwide. (FREEMAN)
