‘Another Simple Favor’ premieres May 1 on Prime Video

Prime Video invites audiences back into a world of secrets, betrayals, and ultra-chic fashion with “Another Simple Favor”, streaming globally on the service starting today, May 1.

Directed by Paul Feig, the sequel reunites Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively as Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson – this time on the breathtaking island of Capri, Italy – for Emily’s extravagant wedding. But beneath the stunning scenery and couture fashion lies a sinister web of dark secrets and murderous intrigue threatening every guest.

Raising the stakes and style from the 2018 original, “Another Simple Favor” blends sharp wit, high fashion, and gasp-worthy twists in a thrilling, laugh-out-loud ride. As opulence gives way to suspicion, old friendships are tested and dangerous truths begin to surface.

The sequel wasn’t originally planned. “A Simple Favor” found new life during the pandemic and inspired Feig to revisit Stephanie and Emily with even higher stakes and more outrageous fashion.

Shot on location in Capri and Rome, the film showcases stunning backdrops like the Faro di Punta Carena and Villa Adriana. Lively co-designed Emily’s dramatic fashion reentrance and one-of-a-kind bridal outfit: a white latex corset, layered skirt, and a 20-foot veil.

Returning cast members are joined by newcomers Michele Morrone as Emily’s dangerously charming fiancé and Allison Janney as her eccentric aunt. Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Alex Newell, Elena Sofia Ricci, and Henry Golding also star.
