Anne breaks 3-year hiatus with June 11 concert

STAR CIRCUIT - Ricky L. Calderon - The Freeman

Vivamax’s “Pusoy,” directed by Italian-American Phil Giordano, is full of action, violence, and sex, but it also has touching and poignant moments. The drama scenes are there to balance the jarring effect of violence.

“It is easy to direct a sex scene because all of us have sex,” said the filmmaker. True enough, “Pusoy”, streaming now on Vivamax, is replete with these and viewers who are fond of watching sexy scenes will certainly have their fill.

Angeli Khang and Janelle Tee are the two ladies who make the scenes sizzle with their sexiness. Vying for the attention of Baron Geisler and Vince Rillon’s characters, they have no qualms in doing bed scenes even with breast exposure.

The love scenes are extremely hot and daring as Angeli and Janelle even use sex toys for their cinematic sexual fantasies. Janelle is the apple of Baron’s eye but when he saw Angeli, who is more provocative and daring, he shifted his attention to Angeli, causing conflict between the two girls.

For Direk Phil, both Janelle and Angeli are truly sexy. When you see them onscreen, they are both sensual and seductive.

Anne Curtis celebrates her return to the entertainment scene after three years by holding the solo concert “Luv-Anne: The Comeback” to be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, 8 pm on June 11.

This will be directed by Paolo Valenciano, with creative direction of Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy, and musical direction by Louie Ocampo.

Anne took a break from work after getting pregnant. She has had blockbuster concerts at the Araneta Coliseum. But while she may not be in the league of Sarah Geronimo in terms of singing prowess, Anne gets high marks for being a very entertaining performer. And her voice has improved.

Aside from being a fashionista onstage, her concerts boast of “buwis-buhay” production numbers and birit songs. She also has a lot of surprise guests.

“Luv-Anne: The Comeback” is produced by Frontrow Theatre Management in cooperation with Resorts World Manila and Viva Artists Agency. Tickets are now available at all TicketWorld and SM Tickets outlets: P10,000 (Platinum), P9,000 (SVIP), P8,000 (VIP), P6,500 (gold), P4,500 (silver) and P2,500 (Bronze).
