Former ABS-CBN executive Ms. Charo Santos-Concio has a new show titled “Shine On Overseas Pinoy”, a program where overseas Filipinos share their stories on how they were able to overcome adversities in life and the importance of securing financial, health, education and retirement plans.

“This is a new challenge for me,” said Ma’am Charo at the Zoom conference yesterday.

Ma’m Charo said she had fun talking to the OFWs with whom she shared the importance of being financially stable. “It is important that we learn how to manage our finances. Dapat marunong tayong humawak ng perang kinikita natin, lalo na sa ating mga OFWs who work hard to earn their keep.”

Ma’m Charo said that a financial adviser joins an OFW on the show and explains to him or her the importance of handling their finances well.

“We should be disciplined in handling our earnings. We should know how to budget our money, take care of our expenses and how can we save a certain amount for our future.”

Ma’m Charo she enjoyed talking to the dIfferent OFWs that will be featured in the show’s first season. She said, “I am very excited to do this show and share with everyone the inspiring stories we have.”

The “Mamasapano” film produced by Atty. Ferdie Topacio for his Boracho Films Productions is nearing completion.

According to Atty. Topacio, the film directed by Lawrence Fajardo and Lester Dimaranan might be shown by August in cinemas. This was the advice of Viva Films which is distributing the movie.

Atty. Topacio said they already have a trailer. The movie has an all-star cast headed by Edu Manzano, Claudine Barretto, Aljur Abrenica, and Paolo Gumabao, to name a few. Editing and color grading of the film is in full swing to ensure that the finished product is a good one.

Following the success of his Vivamax original sexy titles – “Taya”, “The Housemaid”, “House Tour”, “Siklo”, “Hugas”, and “Iskandalo”, cult director Roman Perez. Jr. serves us another extra spicy movie this May 13.

“Putahe” stars Ayanna Misola who became one of Vivamax’s sensations soon after she starred in “#Pornstar 2: Pangalawang Putok” and Kinsenas, Katapusan.”

Ayanna plays Jenny, an island girl who has big plans for herself and her family. She starts fangirling on a newcomer in the island who’s got superb cooking skills. Jenny follows her around until she finally catches her attention.

Euka, played by beauty queen Janelle Tee (Miss Philippines Earth 2019), obliges to give Jenny cooking lessons…and more. Euka sheds her mysterious aura and reveals her wild, seductive side as she gives Jenny sex lessons she will never forget.

And now, Jenny craves for more. She does it next with her boyfriend, Ephraim (Massimo Scofield), never stopping until they are satiated. But while Jenny loses all her innocence, Ephraim seems to be losing his interest in her. Convinced that Euka has something to do with it, Jenny does yet another thing that’s totally out of character.
