Cebuana influencer vying for MUP?

CEBU, Philippines —  Jen Barangan, the former flight attendant who pivoted to become a popular TikTok creator and YouTuber when she was retrenched during the pandemic, posted yesterday a photo with KF (Kagandahang Flores) founder Rodgil Flores – and pageant fans were quick to theorize that the Cebuana might be training for Miss Universe Philippines.

Currently in Manila, the Carcar City native and ex-Cebu Pacific stewardess was seen at the KF bootcamp in the usual pageant training attire.

If she does vie for MUP 2021, it looks like Cebu will have at least three candidates this year with Binibining Cebu title-holders Steffi Aberasturi and Beatrice Gomez reportedly preparing for their respective bids to be the successor of lloilo City’s Rabiya Mateo.
