Sharon would love to play Doctor Foster

STAR CIRCUIT - Ricky L. Calderon - The Freeman

One of most anticipated projects of ABS-CBN is the localized version of the popular series “The World of the Married Couple.”

While the network has yet to announce the stars for the important roles, fans of Megastar Sharon Cuneta are suggesting that ABS-CBN consider her for the role of Dr. Foster. Said suggestion became a trending topic on Twitter.

When Sharon learned about the fan suggestion, she replied, “Thank you so much. I would love to play her.”

Even talent manager Leo Dominguez messaged Sharon on Instagram that she fits the role.

silent_fan12 tweeted, “YES Ate Shawie, we all love to see you play the lead role in #Dr Foster #The World of the Married Couple. You are the only one perfect for that role: acting-wise, the looks, bearing, character and personality of a doctor/lead role.”

More fans tweeted that they will pray Sharon will be Dr. Foster.

Returning to Viva is comedian Bayani Agbayani after signing up with Viva Artist Agency (VAA). He is the latest artist to join the fold anew.

Among his upcoming projects under Viva are several movies and TV shows. He also expressed desire to try his hand at directing to give his career a new flavor.

One project he is excited about is a sitcom similar to “Buddy en Sol” where Bayani co-stars with good friend Randy Santiago.

According to Bayani, this information was relayed to him by a Cignal TV executive. The sitcom will be a joint venture between Cignal TV and Viva Entertainment group.

Bayani also shared that he has an idea for a project that he wants to do with Aga Muhlach. But he has yet to tell Aga.

If plans don’t miscarry, he might start the sitcom with Randy first.

He is likewise excited and looking forward to a possible directorial break because this is a new challenge for him.

Whatever opportunity comes first, Bayani is sure to grab it.
