What’s making Jodi glow these days?
STAR CIRCUIT - Ricky Calderon (The Freeman) - October 23, 2020 - 12:00am

Jodi Sta. Maria was glowing with happiness during the recent Zoom mediacon for her new business, Healthy Fix wellness products.

It is no secret that there is someone making her happy nowadays which explains the glow in her eyes, not just on her skin. She is supposed to be in a beautiful relationship with Raymart Santiago.

Brushing aside the ribbing from the media, Jodi said what makes her glow are the products Marine Collagen and Grape Seed Extract from Healthy Fix. She is likewise thankful to God for keeping her at peace.

“Though I must admit that there are times, being human, I get worried. I get fearful. But every time, God reminds me that there is a purpose for everything that is happening to me, to us, to the world now, that gives me peace.”

When asked if she is in love, she just let out a hearty laugh.

Her current goal is to be of help to other people. “It’s no longer what I want to achieve in life.  It’s more of realizing that there is more to life than just me. At this point what is foremost in my mind is what I can do to make a difference in the lives of others. How can I make life better for those who want it? I am already on that level. I am past that stage where I will say I want to be like this or I want to achieve this,” the actress explained.

Whatever she is doing now, like her investing on Healthy Fix, is no longer for her own good, but to be of service to others.

“We are really offering a helping hand to those who need it. That is the core mantra of our business. We want to offer a known and quality brand. We also want them to be our partner, that’s why we are also encouraging them to invest in the company to help them achieve growth.”

Healthy Fix is a dealership company where Jodi has Nino Bautista and Red Gatus as partners. They call themselves the Power Trio. Healthy Fix is driven by the intention to help consumers attain sustainable living through health, beauty and wellness products.

It seems that there is nothing more that Jodi can wish for. Aside from fixing her health and wealth, her heart is also emotionally fixed as well.

If Jodi and her partners plan to get a male celebrity endorser for Healthy Fix, a perfect choice will be Raymart. After all, he was able to fix Jodi’s broken heart.

Former Kapamilya actor Ejay Falcon gets the biggest break of his career as he was chosen by newbie production outfit JF Films to portray the role of Captain Valeriano Abanador, the Pinoy hero in Balangiga 1901. The film will be directed by newbie director Danny G. Martinez who also wrote the script based on his research.

“I am proud and honored to be chosen for this role. This a very big and significant historical movie,” said Ejay at the story conference for Balangiga 1901 held last week at the JF Films office.

Ejay cites the importance of the Balangiga event in Philippine history as the reason why he accepted the project. While he has done a number of action series on television, this is his first major action film role where he had to learn arnis.

“I am very excited. Seldom does a star get a chance to work in a historical film,” said the former PBB winner. “This is a true story of the events that happened in 1901. That adds to my excitement.”

According to Martinez, the fascinating true story of Balangiga deserves to be told.

Ejay said getting this project is a high point in his career. “There are many things that happened to me this year that made me sad. But getting this role at a time that many actors are waiting for jobs is very significant for me. Even though I don’t have a TV show right now, this movie more than makes up for that. Matagal ko na gusto lumabas sa role ng isang bayani. Sure ako na maraming artistang lalaki na gustong gawin ang role na ito pero sa akin ito napunta. And I am very grateful.”
