Even if there are some relatives of General Miguel Malvar who are not in favor of having a movie done on the life of the hero, Senator Manny Pacquaio and the film producers are bent on pushing through with the biopic.

If we are to base it on social media postings, the people involved in the production are going through the motions of preparing for the project. They don’t seem to care if there are relatives of General Malvar who are not keen on doing a movie on the general’s life. These relatives are also saying they were not consulted about granting the film rights and with Sen. Pacquiao playing the lead role.

The producers are holding on to the word of whoever gave them the rights to do the movie and they don’t care if there some quarters who are not happy with the agreement about the film rights.

The movie became a high-profile project even if there some people saying that Sen. Pacquiao doesn’t fit the role. No matter if they say that Pacquaio is miscast, the producers don’t care. They are pushing through with the movie since this is going to be Pacquiao’s ace if and when he makes good his intention to run as Philippine president in 2022.

Let’s just see what will happen next to this General Malvar film.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is making heads turn and how! Two companies offered him a product endorsement. And take note, he is receiving a huge talent fee from the two endorsement deals.

Mayor Isko was offered by Jag Jeans and IAMCoffee of IAMWorld to be their product endorser. Jag is paying him two million pesos while IAM Coffee is paying him three million pesos.

Mayor Isko accepted the offer and he is donating his talent fee to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) for the sake of the children who are sick of cancer.

The only reason why he accepted the deal was because of the sick children. If another company will offer him an endorsement, he will use his talent fee to help children who are sick. This gesture of Mayor Isko earned him praise from netizens. [email protected]
