Chamber Beat: CCCI, DTI ready to unveil DREAM Program for Freelancers

CEBU, Philippines —  The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) once again partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Central Visayas for the Digital Services Entrepreneurs Advancement Mentoring (DREAM) Project for Freelancers set to launch today, August 4.

With the current pandemic severe impacted on region’s digital economy, CCCI and DTI’s aspiration in empowering and helping more entrepreneurs, particularly those in the service industry, to grow and navigate through the new normal remains the same.

The project features relevant mentorship modules to propel digital services entrepreneurs/freelancers to thrive in spite of the unprecedented setbacks that now confront businesses of all types and sizes, through the guidance of handpicked expert mentors to cover the program syllabus which includes: Entrepreneurial Mind-setting and Values

Formation, Overview of the Market, Developing the Business, Finance and Operations Management, People Management, Contract Management, Client Management, Legalizing your Business, and Business Model Canvass.

The program aims to produce confident entrepreneurs with the right mindset and basic management skills which will enable them to sustain their enterprises amidst the challenges of the pandemic and new normal conditions. It is free of charge, however, can only accommodate a maximum of 30 participants for the first batch in Region 7.
