Chamber beat: CCCI successfully conducts GMP webinar
CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in partnership with the DOST Cebu PSTC (Cebu Provincial Science and Technology Center), successfully conducted its Webinar on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-Food Safety Supervisors’ Course on May 5, 2021 via ZOOM.
23 participants from 7 companies participated in the GMP webinar which discussed salient topics on the standard requirements for Good Manufacturing Practices, its importance and benefits in implementing GMP in the food business and most importantly comply with the stipulations of the Food Safety Act of 2013.
With our food safety experts from the CCCI Cebu Food Consultancy Group, Ms. Ava Mella Remonde, MBA, GDipFoodSc of the University of San Carlos and Ms. Orleyne Tabucanon of HORECA Plus Distribution Corp. as our Resource Speakers, the said webinar provided participants an overall appreciation of the quality system regulations and current good manufacturing practices and their important roles and responsibilities in ensuring Safe Food for the consumers.
