Chamber Beat: CCCI successfully conducted 2-day HACCP training-workshop

CEBU, Philippines —  The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in partnership with the DOST -Cebu Provincial Science and Technology Center, successfully conducted the 2-day Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Virtual Training on April 6-7, 2021 via ZOOM.

Over 40 participants from 15 companies participated in the training workshop which discussed the Prerequisite Programs and HACCP-based procedures, Critical Control Point Monitoring, evaluating and documenting of the HACCP systems.

With our food safety experts from the Cebu Food Consultancy Group, Mr. Bryan Ybanez of DOST 7 and Dr. James Bondal of RGE Agridev Corp. as our Resource Speakers, the said virtual training-workshop provided participants an overall comprehensive guide in their roles in ensuring an effective food safety management system in their respective companies and industries.

GMP is next to come

CCCI once again invites the Cebu business community especially those in the food manufacturing industries to join its upcoming webinar on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on May 5 via Zoom.

This course will help participants understand the requirements of GMP, its importance and benefits in implementing GMP in the food business and most importantly comply with the stipulations of the Food Safety Act of 2013.

Investment fee is P1,000 for CCCI members and P1,500 for Non-CCCI members.
