CEBU, Philippines — Sea travel provider 2GO Travel taps more payment channels to accommodate ticket bookings.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the trend towards a cashless economy as more customers prefer cashless payments over banknotes,” 2GO Assistant Vice President of Marketing Blessie Cruz said, adding that to help prevent the spread of the virus, 2GO Travel expanded its modes of payment to cater to the market’s demand.

Cruz said tickets can now be booked in their website upon receipt of payment made through VISA, Mastercard, JCB, and American Express credit and debit cards. Other online payment methods include Banco de Oro (BDO), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB), Philippine National Bank (PNB), Union Bank of the Philippines (UBP), GCash, BancNet ATM, and Coins.

2GO Travel also accepts over-the-counter payments at BDO, PNB, UCPB, Security Bank, SM Bills Payment Center, Cebuana Lhuiller, M Lhuiller, ECPay via 7-Eleven, San Mig Food Avenue and select Petron stations, Prince Warehouse, LCC Malls, NCCC Supermarkets, RD Pawnshop, H Lhuiller, Global Access and more.

“Book your next Philippine getaway with 2GO Travel where vacation starts onboard! We guarantee an all-in deal, which includes 50kg baggage allowance, meals, accommodation, and insurance,” said Cruz.
