Chamber Beat: CCCI conducts historic General Membership Meeting

CEBU, Philippines —  With the restrictions brought about by the community quarantine in the country, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) brilliantly innovates its General Membership Meeting (GMM), bringing to its members its very first virtual GMM streamed live via Facebook and Microsoft Teams on July 13.

Joined by hundreds of viewers online, the virtual GMMwas dubbed as “historic” as it revolved around the business community’s journey in the pandemic era whichkicked off with CCCI President Felix Taguiam’s Presidential Report.

Highlighted in the virtual meeting were CCCI Past President Nonoy Espeleta and UC Medical Center Psychologist Dr. Anna Watin, covering the topics on “Ramping Up Your Business” and “Resilience and Mental Toughness Amidst COVID-19” respectively.

The virtual GMM was hosted by PSIS 7 Treasurer Nimrod Quiñones and supported by Alliance Software Corporation and Microsoft.
