Newbie developer invests on stop-and-go food strip
CEBU, Philippines — A construction and warehousing company enters into commercial property development with the opening of Springwood District on Plaridel Street in Mandaue City.
CMJC Construction company purposely established the CMJC Realty Development led by its president Ramon J Sio III, to participate in the flourishing real estate in Cebu particularly in the building of more pocket commercial districts.
The 5,021 square-meters development is set to have its ground breaking this coming July 28, 2019 and is targeted to be completed by second or third quarter next year, said the company’s project consultant Eppie Acusar, of iBuild Management Services.
Springwood District will be positioned as Mandaue City’s stop-and-go for customers from neighboring establishments like schools, government offices; and also those who are going to the airport.
The area, which used to be a location of a furniture manufacturing firm will be converted into a dynamic food, retail and beverage destination that mainly caters to on-the-go customers. It will feature a drive-thru food chain as well as tenants offering light and easy food offers, primarily to the price-conscious consumers.
The building of Springwood District, which will offer at least 30 leasable units, is the first of a series of property developments that will be launched by the company in the next few years.
After the completion of the commercial strip, the company is looking at pursuing another project within the area, either a hotel or a condominium building, Acusar said. (FREEMAN)
