Villa, Ng top Punta Fuego’s Turtle Run

MANILA, Philippines — John Ravena Villa (with a time of 18:17) and Bea Victoria Ng (25:01) took the 5k top honors in the 11th Annual Turtle Run on Saturday at Peninsula de Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Daniel Tomas Campos (18:53) and Rogie Ramos (20:18) were runners-up in the men’s side while Ma. Kristina Faith Uguis and Jasmine Marie de Villa joined Ng as podium finishers in the event that raised P641,000 to benefit Punta Fuego’s Turtle Conservation Projects.

Patrick Maxwell and wife Lorraine emerged 3k champs in the well-loved event highlighting the community’s strong support for marine environment advocacy, proudly carrying the theme: “Running Together to Promote Healthy Oceans for Future Generations.”

The Chua family headed by Punta Fuego Foundation CEO, Dr. Noel Chua, received the Largest Family Participation Award with 15 members across various race categories.
