MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) has a complete board now with the addition of former PBA player and national women’s basketball team head coach Fritz Gaston.

Also a former Games and Amusement Board commissioner, Gaston got his official appointment yesterday to join PSC chair Richard Bachmann and fellow commissioners Olivia Coo, Walter Torres and Edward Hayco in the government sports-funding agency.

Interestingly, Gaston’s daughter, Pauline or “Pongay” as she’s fondly called, currently plays for Premier Volleyball League club Chery Tiggo wearing her dad’s former PBA jersey No. 22.
