Cignal HD shoots for finals berth

MANILA, Philippines — For the first time in its young Premier Volleyball League life, Cignal HD is on the cusp of a breakthrough finals appearance.

The HD Spikers will shoot for a finals berth when they battle Petro Gazz today in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena.

Cignal will ride the crest of its second straight win in the semis – a stunning win over top seed Creamline last Sunday that moved them closer to their first championship appearance since joining the PVL last year.

Creamline eyes to bounce back from that stinging defeat and improve its 1-1 card when it meets Chery Tiggo, winless in two games.
