EcoOil, Marinero eye finals

MANILA, Philippines — EcoOil-La Salle and Marinerong Pilipino shoot for a quick finals date when they gun for a sweep against their semifinals foes in the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup today at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Coming off big wins in the best-of-three series opener, the Green Archers are out to finish off Adalem Construction-St. Clare at 10 a.m. while the Skippers aim for the same bid against Apex-Fuel San Sebastian at 12 p.m.

In Game 1, No. 2 La Salle eked out an 89-74 win over St. Clare while Marinero pulled off a 74-66 stunner on the top-seeded San Sebastian, to position for a possible sweep.
