Philippine jins vie in ASEAN joust

MANILA, Philippines — The 15-man Smart/MVP Sports Foundation taekwondo squad left Manila yesterday to take part in the 2022 Asean Taekwondo Federation (ATF) Taekwondo Championships set today until April 4 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

After a rigid training and qualifying session, selected to the team are Loralee Natividad, Abigail Faye Valdez, Realis Tabiando, Clarence Sarza, Rhezie Aragon, Ceanne Kyle Rosquillo, Marvin Mori, Kier Macalino, King Nash Alcairo, Rommel Pablo Jr., Justin Mark Agno, Paul Romero, June Ninobla, Devy John Singson, Joseph Chua and Alfritz Arevalo.

The team is composed of 10 Kyorugi (free sparring) and five poomsae athletes accompanied by delegation head Raul Samson, and coaches Paul Romero, Devy Singson and June Ninobla.
