Ingles 'hurt' after trade from Jazz to Trail Blazers
LOS ANGELES – Utah traded Joe Ingles to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday as part of a three-team deal, a move the injured Australian forward admitted "hurts" after almost eight years with the Jazz.
"Today hurts," Ingles said on Twitter after the deal was confirmed Thursday. While Ingles goes to Portland the Jazz will receive Trail Blazers guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker and San Antonio Spurs forward Juancho Hernangomez.
Today hurts… I knew it was a possibility but didn’t want to believe it, we have been lucky to call this place home for 8 years!

I got a lot more to say, but I’m going to have a beer & relax with some good friends..
Go get a win fellas! I’ll always be watching ??
The Spurs received guard Tomas Satoransky from Portland and a future second-round draft pick from the Jazz.
"I knew it was a possibility but didn't want to believe it, we have been lucky to call this place home for 8 years," Ingles wrote. "I got a lot more to say, but I'm going to have a beer & relax with some good friends."
Ingles, who helped Australia win Olympic bronze in Tokyo last year, was already out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on January 30.
The 34-year-old, who has become a beloved figure in Salt Lake City — where he arrived in 2014 after he was cut by the Los Angeles Clippers — wished his former Jazz teammates well.
