Pingris: No room for game-fixers

MANILA, Philippines — Commissioner Marc Pingris said the newly formed Pilipinas Super League has no room for shenanigans even as he warned of harsh sanctions for game-fixers.

“Yan ang ayaw na ayaw natin – ang maglalaglag ang players,” Pingris said during yesterday’s The Chasedown program on One PH.

The former PBA and Gilas Pilipinas star hinted of stiff fines ranging from P100,000 to P200,000 and even imprisonment for those who will resort to game-fixing.

“Talagang pipigain natin sila,” he said.
