MANILA, Philippines — Matt Ganuelas-Rosser is anticipating a lot of good things in his looming return to the TNT Tropang Giga.

One of the things he looks forward to is getting to reunite with veterans on the team like Jayson Castro, whom he also played with during his first stint with TNT.

But also on his list of things to watch out for with the Tropang Giga is playing with Tropang Giga's rising star Mikey Williams.

Ganuelas-Rosser, a five-time PBA champion, heaped praise on the rookie, who led TNT to the championship in last year's PBA Philippine Cup.

"I'm definitely excited to play with a lot of the new guys, especially Mikey Williams. He's having a great rookie year," Ganuelas-Rosser said in a recent episode of One Sports' The Game.

"I actually never got the chance to play against him so I was like, I get to play with this guy so that's exciting," he added.

Williams was having another good run with TNT in the Governor's Cup before play stopped due to rising COVID cases.

In four games, Williams averaged 18.25 points per game.

Meanwhile, Ganuelas-Rosser played five games for the Terrafirma Dyip before entering free agency and signing with TNT.

He had a quiet average of five points per game.

But now as he begins a new course in his career, Ganuelas-Rosser plans to give it his all.

And he hopes to do it with spectators back in the stands.

"Hopefully, we have fans. Being able to play in front of the Talk 'n Text fans, they've supported me even after I got traded which is I'm really grateful to them and just getting the feedback through social media and stuff I'm really excited to perform in front of those TNT fans," he said.

The PBA was able to bring back fans for a number of games in the Smart Araneta Coliseum during the Governor's Cup before COVID cases spiked in the country.

The league plans to resume action in February, but the fate of fans inside the arena has yet to be discussed.

Currently, the TNT Tropang Giga are 2-2 for the conference and are 8th in the standings.
