Creamline, Choco stake pride
BACARRA, Ilocos Norte, Philippines — Sister teams Creamline and Choco Mucho stake their unblemished record against PLDT Home Fibr and a debuting Perlas, respectively, when the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference holds its first triple-bill at the PCV Socio-Civic & Cultural Center here.
Spearheaded by Alyssa Valdez, the Cool Smashers gun for a fourth straight win against the Home Fibr Hitters at 1 p.m. while the Flying Titans, headed by Kat Tolentino, shoot for their third win in a row against the Perlas Spikers at 4 p.m.
Capping the heavy schedule is the 7 p.m. duel pitting Cignal HD (1-2) and Bali Pure, which nailed its first win in two starts at the expense of pre-season favorite Chery Tiggo, 19-25, 25-19, 13-25, 27-25, 15-12, Thursday.
Alyssa Valdez is expected to lead Creamline anew after she averaged 18.67 points including a 20-point effort in a come-from-behind 20-25, 25-15, 25-27, 25-19, 15-13 win against Black Mamba Army.
