MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Azkals aim to finish strong tonight against Maldives before they bow out of the second round of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at the Sharjah Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.

The Pinoy booters (10 points on three wins, a draw and three losses) target maximum points against the also-ran Maldivians (six points on 2-0-5) at 7 p.m. (11 p.m. in Manila) to wrap up their Group A assignments.

At the same time, the Scott Cooper-coached squad looks to build the momentum as it shifts its focus to the next round of the qualifiers for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
