MANILA, Philippines — The Brooklyn Nets drew first blood in their second round matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks, 115-107, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).

This despite an early exit from one of its stars James Harden, who walked off the floor after only 43 seconds in the game due to an apparent hamstring injury.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving connived in their teammate’s absence with 54 points to pace the Nets over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.

Blake Griffin also stepped up for the Nets with a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds. Joe Harris chipped in 19 markers as well.

The all-around effort from the Nets starters sans Harden helped the Nets to the lopsided win where they led by as much as 19.

Giannis Antetokounmpo paced the Bucks in the losing effort with 34 points.

This is Milwaukee’s first postseason defeat of the year after sweeping the Miami Heat, 4-0, in the opening round.
