VisMin Super Cup fires off in Cebu John Bryan Ulanday

MANILA, Philippines — After a long wait, the Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup is raising its curtains for the Visayas leg with an exciting double-header today at the Alcantara Civic Center in Alcantara, Cebu.

MJAS Zenith-Talisay City Aquastars and Tubigon Bohol Mariners plunge to action first at 4 p.m. followed by the main game at 7 p.m. pitting KCS Computer Specialist-Mandaue and Siquijor Mystics.

Tabogon Voyagers, ARQ Builders-Lapu-Lapu Heroes and Dumaguete Warriors complete the seven-team Visayas leg cast of the VisMin Super Cup led by COO Rocky Chan.

Pagadian, Roxas, Cagayan De Oro, Sindangan, Zamboanga City, Basilan and new teams Ozamis and Tawi-Tawi compete in the Mindanao leg set to open May 20.

The league has drawn boost in time for its Visayas opener with Chooks-to-Go coming in as title sponsor for its inaugural season.

Chooks-to-Go president Ronald Mascariñas said it’s a dream come true for him to be a part of the Pilipinas VisMIn Super Cup, especially with him tracing his roots in Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte.

“With the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup, we believe that we can find more talents in those regions while introducing them to a national audience,” he said.
