MANILA, Philippines — Filipino ace Thirdy Ravena is on track to full recovery from a right hand injury in the Japan B. League as seen in his return to limited practice yesterday.

The San-en NeoPhoenix import hit the court without his cast on for the first time in two months for initial training starting with ball handling and dribbling drills.

Ravena, son of TNT deputy Bong and brother of NLEX star Kiefer, went under the knife last January after suffering a metacarpal oblique fracture.

“Right now, I’m at 70-percent. Definitely, I’m on the way to recovery,” he said in B.League’s Weekly Meet.

San-en sits at 19th place in the B. League with a dismal 11-35 slate sans Ravena (with averages of 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists), who also missed the B. League All Star earlier this year.
